We lovely spend 1 night in Carreco. The king room didn't seem appealing on photos but it was well decorated and perfectly clean with a lovely view. The location was absolutely perfect, close to the beach, convenient to go everywhere.
Can’t fault the property in any way!

I had the most very nice stay at Casa Do Avo Horacio. Horacio's warm smile made me feel so welcome. The rooms were super clean and cozy, and the gardens were a peaceful oasis. The highlight of my stay was enjoying fresh apples and pears from Horacio's garden and sipping on fresh mountain water. The dinner he arranged for me from a local restaurant was delicious and beautifully served. Climbing down the spiral staircase to the bathroom added a unique touch to my stay. Horacio's genuine care for his guests made this a special experience. I highly recommend this lovely place.

The rooms at Casa Do Avo Horacio are absolutely stunning! I stayed in a quadruple room with a cozy seating area and a lovely oven. It felt so comfortable and homely, perfect for a relaxed beach getaway.
Personally, I found the soundproofing in the twin/double room a bit lacking. But hey, some people might enjoy the ambiance of hearing the waves crashing outside!

The value for money at this place was really good with a beautiful room and a charming garden to relax in. The location was perfect, right between the Camino Portuguese Coastal and Litoral routes. The host, Horácio, was amazing and were really nice too make us feel welcome, even bringing us a delicious bowl of freshly made sweet rice and helping with our laundry when it started raining. The queen bed in our room was the best we've had on the Camino. An lovely stay!
The breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety.
